TalkSPORT has learned that Bayern Munich is getting ready to make a third bid for Kieran Trippier, the defender for Newcastle.
Even though Bayern’s most recent offer of £12.8 million was turned down on Tuesday, the German powerhouses aren’t giving up on the right-back.
The England international Trippier is eager to remain at St James Park, according to Newcastle manager Eddie Howe.
However, Harry Kane, Eric Dier, and their fellow countryman and former Tottenham teammate are eager to rejoin forces with Bayern manager Thomas Tuchel.
The 33-year-old just made the £12 million move from Atletico Madrid to the Magpies two years ago.
He has made 83 appearances for the team and has assisted in their return to the Champions League.
Trippier is seeking to join the German powerhouses before the window closes next week, according to a report from talkSPORT over the weekend.
To raise money for additions, Eddie Howe’s team is under pressure to sell.
The Magpies have taken great care to ensure that they do not violate Financial Fair Play [FFP] regulations or draw undue attention since taking over in Saudi Arabia.
