Terrel Bernard, a linebacker, guard O’Cyrus Torrence, and offensive tackle Spencer Brown were all on the list. NFL players with high snap counts but modest incomes receive performance-based compensation. As rookies, all three players are still in action.

Last season, Brown, the starting right tackle for Buffalo, appeared in all 17 games as a member of the Bills. Following in third place on the list, he received $912,723 for 2023.

Buffalo’s second-round selection in the 2023 NFL Draft, O’Cyrus Torrence, started all 17 games for the Bills at right guard and did not miss a single play throughout the entire campaign. For his 2023 efforts, Torrence was selected to the Pro Football Writers of America All-Rookie Team. The guard’s $847,180 distribution ranked eighth on the performance-based compensation list.

This season, Bernard, the starting linebacker for the Bills, has also started 17 games for Buffalo. With 143 total tackles (10 TFL), 6.5 sacks, nine quarterback hits, three fumble recoveries, three interceptions, and five passes defensed, the second-year linebacker enjoyed a career season. Placing 17th on the list, he was awarded $777,092.
