Several mock drafts anticipate Reese to be picked in the mid-to late first round; nevertheless, her perimeter skills have been questioned in relation to her potential in the WNBA.

During her collegiate tenure, Reese’s 3-point percentage was only 5 for 32, or 15.6% of her total shots.

On Friday, Reese, however, was spotted making 3-pointers within the NBA range at Summit, a well-known gym in New York.

She also put in a pre-draft “shift” at Manhattan’s Raising Cane’s, where she expressed her excitement for her future in basketball to The Post.

“I’m going to be a rookie in a major league where a lot of amazing women have come before me and set the standard. I approach them with reverence for their identity and past actions. Reese revealed to Bridget Reilly of The Post. “I’m aware that the game is going to get heated. Even if it’s just the rookies, I know the viewership is growing and I’ve been seeing all the stuff on social media about how it would elevate that and allow the veterans to get the recognition they deserve.

Reese was invited to the draft on Monday night at the Brooklyn Academy of Music, along with 15 other players, including Kamilla Cardoso of South Carolina and Caitlin Clark of Iowa.

The 6-foot-3 big was a key player in both LSU’s run for the 2023 National Championship and their recent run to the Elite Eight.
