This week, the Patriots re-signed wide receivers Kendrick Bourne and Jalen Reagor and added a wide receiver from outside the team.

According to NFL Media, they have reached a contract agreement with K.J. Osborn. The terms of the agreement have not been made public.

Osborn was drafted by the Vikings in the fifth round of the 2020 NFL Draft, and during his rookie campaign, he was only used on special teams. After switching to an offensive role in 2021, he finished the previous three seasons with 158 receptions for 1,845 yards and 15 touchdowns.

In the New England receiving corps, Demario Douglas, JuJu Smith-Schuster, Tyquan Thornton, and Kayshon Boutte join Bourne, Reagor, and Osborn.

Is it possible for Odell Beckham Jr. to join the Jets?

Aaron Rodgers, the quarterback for the New York Jets, might have a new running companion this season. It would be wise to “keep an eye on” the chance that the Jets sign receiver Odell Beckham, Jr., according to Rich Cimini of ESPN.com.

The Packers, after Beckham was cut by the Browns in 2021, made a haphazard attempt to match him with Aaron Rodgers. He was on the verge of signing with the Jets last season, but decided to accept Baltimore’s enormous (and foolish) one-year $15 million offer instead. (He increased the incentives by another $1 million.)

Aaron Rodgers Can't Hold Back Because of Rookie Missteps

Once more, Beckham is a free agent. So far in his first week of free agency, he has not attracted much attention. Now is the perfect time to go bargain shopping.

At the top of the Jets’ receiving depth chart right now are Xavier Gipson, Allen Lazard, Jason Brownlee, and Garrett Wilson. Lazard has a fully guaranteed salary of $10 million for 2024, but he was a huge letdown in 2023.

Beckham stated on SiriusXM during Super Bowl week that he intends to play for a maximum of four more years. The Giants selected him with the 12th overall choice in 2014, one pick ahead of Aaron Donald, who announced his retirement on Friday.

Another linebacker signed as a free agent has joined the Eagles’ roster.

Zack Baun and Devin White were also added to the team this week, and Oren Burks is the newest member. According to TheAthletic.com’s Dianna Russini, the contract has a maximum value of $2.5 million and is for one year.

Burks was selected by the Packers in the third round of the 2018 NFL Draft and played for them for four seasons before joining the 49ers in 2022. He participated in 32 games during the regular season and six postseason games, making nine starts and contributing frequently to special teams.

During his tenure with the Niners, Burks recorded 95 tackles, 1.5 sacks, an interception, and a fumble recovery.

This season, defensive end Efe Obada will return to Washington.

This week, the Commanders declared that Obada had resigned. The terms of the agreement were not disclosed.

Obada has played for the NFC East club for the past two seasons, but two injuries ended his 2023 campaign. Due to a knee injury, he began the season on injured reserve. He played five games before suffering numerous leg fractures in Week 11, which ended his career.

Obada finished his career with the Bills and Panthers with 62 tackles, 11 sacks, an interception, a forced fumble, and two fumble recoveries. In 2022, he had 24 tackles and four sacks.
