Head coach Dennis Allen announced that Tanoh Kpassagnon, a defensive end for the New Orleans Saints, tore his Achilles tendon during a drill at the indoor training facility.
Allen did not provide any details about the nature of the tear. Kpassagnon signed a two-year, $5 million contract prior to the 2023 season, and in his three years at New Orleans, he recorded 9.5 sacks and 65 tackles.
Allen believes that Kpassagnon, a former second-round draft pick, is not completely out of the picture; he’s going to work as hard as he can to get himself back out there as soon as possible.
